Materials Used
Crosslink:
Del-Air Systems Ltd. utilizes a UV-stabilized,
crosslinkable High Density Polyethylene in some of its products.
Parts molded in crosslink show exceptional environmental stress
cracking resistance, thermal resistance, and notched failure
resistance. The high flow base resin promotes rapid melting and
outstanding part fill during processing while the finished part
exhibits high performance characteristics. This resin is typically
used for outdoor storage tanks or fuel tanks and lids for various
applications.
EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate):
Del-Air utilizes this high ethylene vinyl acetate
copolymer powder for a variety of plastic products. It is designed
particularly for applications requiring high strength at low
temperatures. It can be used to produce a variety of rotationally
molded objects, including traffic cones, tanks and flexible gutter
plugs.
LLDPE (Linear Low Density Poly Ethylene):
LL 8460 is
a linear low density hexene copolymer designed to offer excellent ESCR
and toughness. This resin is ideally suited for applications that
require the optimum balance of processability, stiffness and low
temperature toughness.
Pigments:
Pigments
can be custom matched to samples of your metal or existing plastic
products. A variety of colors and shades can be accessed, stored and
used for your custom parts. Colors can be matched in any shade of
the spectrum. The Pigments that Del-Air Systems Ltd utilizes is
UV-stabilized. Current pigment technology is utilized to ensure your
colors are the bright and long lasting.
Mold in Graphics / Post Mold Graphics:
Logos, safety statements, pictures or text can be
graphically designed onto mold in graphics. Existing Logos or decals
can be used to produce mold in or post mold decals which are molded
right into your plastic parts.
Metal Inserts:
A variety of shapes, bolts, nuts, cap inserts,
fittings and metal inserts can be designed and molded within your
plastic parts. Talk to us today to have your new and existing parts
engineered to eliminate post mold processes. Why not have your
inserts molded right into your part? It will eliminate leaking and
produce a easy to use product.
Specialty Resins:
Resins with granite like appearances can be
utilized to have your product stand out from the rest. Create a
professional appearance in many shades- from black granite, to grey,
